Brett LaChappelle - Special Needs Aide with HH Community Options

A resident of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, Brett LaChappelle has nearly 20 years of experience working within the community as an outreach director, a recreation and parks superintendent, and his present role as a special needs attendant or life coach. In 2022, Brett joined HH Community Options where he assists clients with cognitive disabilities.

Mr. LaChappelle’s work in the community began in 2006 as Hope Church’s Life Groups and Community Outreach director, where he counseled individuals, couples, and families. Here, he developed the GROW Seminar, which helped individuals with goal setting and overcoming obstacles. In 2011, City of Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department hired him to organize sports programming for the city’s children and adults. While working with the city’s Parks and Recreation Department, he also helped improve and expand athletic facilities at several of the city’s parks.

Today, Mr. LaChappelle provides clients at HH Community Options with compassionate, holistic care. This role involves empowering clients to achieve personal goals and nurturing their growth as well as providing a safe and fun place for participants. He provides clients personalized support in helping them navigate their specific challenges. Mr. LaChappelle’s training and education as a life coach include a Level 1 Coaching Master Certificate in Life Coaching from Creative Results Management.

Outside of his role with HH Community Options, Mr. LaChappelle enjoys biking, going for walks, RV camping, and woodworking. He also has volunteered in the past with The Salvation Army, the Haven Men’s Homeless Shelter, and the Two Rivers High School Football team (as a statistician), among other community organizations. In addition, Brett has assisted with rebuilding and recovery efforts in post hurricane communities.
